Long Time, No Blog

I have a lot of blogging to catch up on.
I am going to give you the very short version followed by pictures. Here goes:

1. Christmas - It was wonderful, it is always wonderful because we all love Christmas.
It is so wonderful to see everyone around remembering our Savior Jesus Christ and celebrating his birth. Most loved gifts were- Perfect pull-up, Wii sports resort, Wii Mario cart, gift cards, money, and now I cannot remember all of them. My kids are always so gracious and are appreciative of everything they get.

2. Parker sprained his ankle doing gymnastics (pretty bad too)- Soccer career over (bummer)
The picture does not do it justice. The damage was much worse. It has been 6 weeks and it is still quite swollen.

3. Brandon, Parker , and Madison all turned 15- WOW! we are all getting so old. We had a quiet evening at home not too much excitement. Last year was Disneyland and next year will be the big 16, so we played it low key this year. Happy Birthday guys. We love you.

4. All 4 of my wonderful, intelligent, beautiful, okay I could go on forever. Anyway all of our children received awards for being on the honor roll. 2 of them were gold and 2 of them were 4.0
Keep it up. We need those scholarships.

5. Yeah, We now have 2 eagles in our midst. Brandon and Parker have completed their board of reviews and are officially Eagles. I am still waiting to receive paperwork back so I can plan the party. I call it a party, but really it is a court of honor. An invitation is coming to your mailbox soon.
6. Mikes big family dream has finally come true. He has wanted to form a family band since before we were actually a family. Well, here we are. The band was established in the summer of 2009 and we had our first performance in January 2010. It was at a wedding of a family friend, and I hope it was all he dreamed it would be. We have Mike on vocals, guitar, bass, and saxophone. Tanner is on keyboard, bass, and ukulele. Brandon is on drums. I am on tambourine, cabasa, and I have a one note solo on the keyboard. I guess I better improve on my talent and maybe I will get to play more than one note someday. Parker is our backstage handyman. Madison is our official video specialist and photographer. That's the band.
